The United Kingdom (England) is the first country to establish a railway on its territory between the cities of Manchester and Liverpool in 1830, and Egypt is the second country to establish a railway on its territory during a contract between the Khedive Abbas I with the English son of the inventor of the iron locomotive worth 56 thousand pounds In 1854, the first locomotive between Cairo and Alexandria was running 209 kilometers. Then came the merchants of the city to collect their needs of grain and food supplies, hardware and vegetables and others, and was one of the most famous traders in the scaffold (Halawani - Mayor Saad Ali Saad) and Dahar (Salah Qabil - Kahil - Bahr Ahmadan - Mohammed Hussein Amer - Al-Assal, Shehata, Shafiq Joudeh, Nashid, Ja'bas, Abd Al-Laila Al-Sumairi, Al-Adaysa, Ahmed Awad, and others).
